About the University
International Sports University, Maharashtra
A specialised State University established under the Maharashtra International Sports University Act, 2020 (assent 28 December 2020), headquartered at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.
ISUM develops world-class sports education, produces professionally qualified coaches and athletes, and strengthens Maharashtra’s sporting ecosystem across sports science, sports medicine, sports technology, sports management, sports media and high-performance training. The University functions as a centre of excellence for elite sportspersons and as a knowledge resource for the State.
